Order Entry Specialist


Instrumentations and Controls (IAC), a manufacturer’s representative partner of Endress+Hauser Inc. that specializes in instrumentation, process controls, valves, actuators, safety systems, as well as engineered systems, is looking for an Order Entry Specialist to join their team in Chandler, AZ.

The Order Entry Specialist will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering customer orders into our order management system, resolving any order issues and discrepancies, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. The Order Entry Specialist will work collaboratively with various teams including Sales, Customer Service, and Logistics to ensure timely delivery and excellent customer experience


Accurately enter and process customer orders into the order management system

  • Verify the accuracy of orders, ensuring that all details such as product codes, quantities, and pricing are correct
  • Communicate with customers, sales representatives, and other relevant departments to clarify any discrepancies or obtain missing information related to orders
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction in relation to order processing
  • Perform data entry tasks efficiently and with a high level of accuracy, maintaining up-to-date and organized records
  • Prepare and maintain order-related documentation
  • Identify and resolve order-related problems promptly, coordinating with relevant teams to address issues
  • Ensure that all order processing activities adhere to company policies, procedures, and compliance standards
  • Contribute to the improvement of order processing procedures and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Stay informed about changes in products, pricing, and procedures, and adapt quickly to ensure accurate order processing


  • Previous experience in a customer-facing order entry or customer service role preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with exceptional customer service etiquette
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with Excel and Word
  • High school diploma or equivalent, degree in business or related field a plus
